Henry for IBM directed by Daniel Levi from one small seed on Vimeo.
Independent director Daniel Levi’s film Henry is electrifying, resonating with all that coming-of-age energy. Henry was commissioned as part of an IBM-sponsored exhibition in Paris in 2010, whereby artists of various mediums were invited to submit work inspired by various themes. The prolific Daniel Levi – who was the only filmmaker invited take part in the exhibition – chose the theme ‘electricity’. Henry was shot in Cape Town through Velocity Films. Although void of spoken dialogue, the story, fuelled by a stirring soundtrack composed by musician Simon Ringrose, is a powerful one.
