Ari Kruger is a filmmaker based in Cape Town, South Africa. Coming from an extensive background in animation and visual effects, he has worked on various commercials, print campaigns as well as a few music videos. Ari has worked with some of the top studios, both in Cape Town and abroad during his stay in Sydney, Australia.
During this time he has been honing his writing and directing skills through various short films that he has produced on little to no budget whatsoever. He also has the honour of being the only international finalist in the TROPFEST 2011 Short Film Festival in Australia, the largest of its kind. More recently though he has just completed the first four episodes of a web-series with renowned comic Rob van Vuuren!

This man is brilliant. Kind of grew up with him as a kid, I was named after his dad, does that mean if one day he wins an Oscar that I’ll be mentioned too?
