Shootout to all the Filmmakers! Looking for your big break? Prestigious Liquor brand Jameson Irish Whiskey partnered with Kevin Spacey and his production company, Trigger street Productions ( The social network and 21) to discover up- and-coming talent from America, Russia and South Africa.
In the search for fresh, fearless film makers, Jameson invite you to take center stage and enter a short film competition with a once-in-a-lifetime prize like no other; one winner from each country will have their script made into a short film by Trigger Street Productions, starring Kevin Spacey.
To enter the competition you first have to subscribe yourself as a member and submit a script up to five pages, inspired by the theme of a legendary, humorous or a very tall tale. The closing date for entries is Dec 31st 2011, you can upload and make changes to your script as many times as you like before the closing date.
Trigger Street Productions will review all scripts and select a shortlist to go through to the next round by January 31st 2012. If you are shortlisted (lucky you!), you will be asked to choose one of three scenes written by Trigger Street and shoot one minute of footage based on, or following on from this scene. You will then have seven (7) working days to upload it in the member’s area. One finalist from each country will be chosen; three in total. The three winners will be notified by February 29th 2012.
