KEHINDE WILEY INTERVIEW - june/2010

Culminating PUMA’s creative collaboration with internationally renowned portrait artist Kehinde Wiley, the ‘sportslifestyle’ brand hosted an exhibition and launch party at Studio One in Cape Town to reveal the massive Legends of Unity portraits to a South African audience on the final stop of their global tour. In celebration of their longstanding involvement in African football, PUMA commissioned the series of artworks depicting three African football greats, united by their African roots and shared passion for football. The resultant Legends of Unity portraits were translated into fashion for the PUMA Africa Collection, which was also exhibited with Kehinde’s paintings. On the afternoon of the launch party on Wednesday 23 June, one small seed TV headed to the chic Bree Street studio to interview the New York artist about his involvement in this weighty project. PUMA - FASHION SHOOT - ISSUE 19 - may/2010

In celebration of Puma’s longstanding corroboration of African football, the global ‘sportslifestyle’ brand commissioned prominent New York artist Kehinde Wiley to create artworks in honour of the beautiful game and its African superstars. For our fashion section this season, one small seed constructed a shoot inspired by his art, featuring the Puma Africa Collection that draws on the decorative elements of Kehinde’s flamboyant portraits. DESIGN INDABA FASHION - feb/2010

Once again, this year’s annual Design Indaba Expo and Conference played host to some of the country’s biggest names in fashion including Stiaan Louw, Hip Hop and Craig Native, among several other established fashion powerhouses. DESIGNER RAIL SALE - JULY 2010

Taking place on 31 July at the exclusive 15 on Orange Hotel in Cape Town, The Fashion Affair showcased beautiful garments by international and local designers. The one small seed TV crew, with presenters Coral and Pardy, were in attendance at this Designer Rail Sale and captured all the glamour, glitz, and styling wonders that were cultivated by the socialites and fashion aficionados. This fashion frenzy is exclusive to one small seed TV.

Milfred du Toit - Wild Young Things - 12/09

Magazine Related Video - Issue 17....... For issue 17, one small seed hired outrageous European photographer Milfred du Toit to create a chic and sexy summer spread for the magazine’s Wild Feature. The flashy, retro and undeniably styling Milfred whipped the models into shape for the shoot he’s named ‘Discotheque Couture: Wild Young Things’. The one small seed tv crew captured the creative process in action and were subsequently granted an exclusive interview with the man himself.
