German multinational company Puma was founded by Rudolf Dassler in 1924 and registered in 1948. Since then the brand has become an established name in sportswear and lifestyle clothing. Hosting a massive party in Cape Town in October the year, Puma launched the Rudolf Dassler Brand, a new label in their collection. Although it is a heritage style, Puma plans to give it a firm twist of modernism to reinforce the brand’s strong ties to music.
