Who is Popskarr? “Popskarr is the past, the present and the future!” Good vibes come in the form of gooey synth-pop electro dialogues, and talk of “nimbus clouds” and “dreams coming true” become the discourse of the night. Terrence Pearce (DJ Lapse) is the force behind the production of the beats, while iamwaves writes the lyrics and is the distinct voice of Popskarr. Their musical influences are varied and include Neon Indian, The Presets, Grave Danger, M83, Mew, Pheonix, The Presets, Midnight Juggernauts and The xx.
