Since we last chatted to 7^th Son, the talented lads have continued to find success on their own terms. Although they’re soulfully South African, the band decided to relocate to New York for 2009. There they’ve lined up a regular spot at a fashionable club in Times Square. While the move has taken them off South African shores and far away from the fans that helped build their careers, the group is not about to turn their backs on those who raised them up to the limelight. To show their appreciation for their local support base, they returned to home turf to launch their latest release in June this year. The album explores the band’s journey thus far, expanding on the position in which the quintet currently finds itself.
